Durch die Verklebung über Kreuz bildet sich bei diesem Beutel ein sechseckiger Boden, wodurch er sich auch problemlos aufstellen lässt. Kreuzbodenbeutel eignen sich besonders für das Verpacken von Lebensmitteln, wie z. B. Nudeln, Nüssen oder Gebäck. Kreuzbodenbeutel sind in vielen verschiedenen Standardgrößen und auf Wunsch auch in Spezialausführungen erhältlich.
